EVOC’s range of pioneering backpacks with integrated back protectors was born from pro freeride snowboarder and founder Holger Feist becoming injured after an avalanche incident during a video shoot in 1999. A keen mountain biker, Holger recognised the need for safety and ergonomics across both sports. Since developing their first prototype in 2003, EVOC have become synonymous with well engineered backpacks and travel luggage.
With a love for exploration and extreme sports EVOC’s founders recognised the lack of a solution for riders who wanted to travel with their pride and joy. Developing a sophisticated bike travel bag initially for personal use, more and more friends requested them before a bag found its way to the famous Flying Ball bike shop in Hong Kong. An order for 50 bags later, EVOC was founded and the rest is history.
